About the studio

Five rules we stick to

The studio has five treatment rooms, separate changing rooms and an upstairs sauna area with a relaxation room. We let no more than 14 people into the sauna area at a time.

  1. Fifteen minutes between bookings

The time shown is time on the table, not including changing. That's why appointments don't run late and nobody waits in the corridor.

  2. A consultation form on your first visit

One page: injuries, operations, pregnancy, allergies to oils and medication. So on your first visit, please arrive twenty minutes early.

  3. You set the pressure

We agree the pressure at the start and can change it at any time during the massage. Just say — the therapist won't ask every five minutes.

  4. Quiet in the sauna area and the relaxation room

Phones stay in the lockers in the changing room. Calls and photos only at reception.

  5. No selling after your treatment

We won't try to sell you creams or courses. If you ask, we'll advise you; we won't bring it up ourselves.

Time on the table

60 min

For a 60-minute massage, allow 90 minutes for the whole visit, including changing and resting.

Facilities

  • Changing rooms with lockers — separate for women and men, with showers and hairdryers.
  • Robe, towel and slippers — included with every treatment and sauna session.
  • Relaxation room with ten loungers — herbal tea and water as much as you like.
  • Double treatment room — for couples massage with two therapists at once.
  • Accessible toilet on the ground floor — step-free entrance from the street.

Sauna etiquette

Rules for the sauna area

The rules apply to everyone equally, and staff make sure they're followed. If they're broken repeatedly, we'll end your session without a refund.

  1. Shower before every round

Always shower and dry off before going into the sauna or steam room, and always wear swimwear.

  2. A towel under your whole body

Always put a large towel on the bench, under your feet too. You'll get one when you arrive.

  3. No jewellery or watches

Metal gets very hot in the sauna and can burn. Leave jewellery, watches and glasses in your locker.

  4. Only staff pour water on the stones

Don't pour water on the stones yourself. Don't go in or out during an infusion.

  5. Rinse before the plunge

Always rinse off before the cold plunge. Keep your head above the water; no jumping.

  6. Quiet and phones

Keep your voice down in the sauna area and the relaxation room. Calls and photos only at reception.

Shower and dry off2 min
First time in the Finnish sauna8 – 12 min
Cool down in the shower, then the plunge1 – 2 min
Rest in the relaxation room15 min
Drink water between rounds200 – 300 ml

Three rounds like this fit comfortably into a two-hour session. We don't recommend more than three.

When not to use the sauna

  • With a temperature, an acute infection or an open wound.
  • When pregnant, or after drinking alcohol.
  • On an empty stomach, or straight after a hard workout.
  • With a heart condition, unstable blood pressure or after recent surgery, check with your doctor first.
  • Children under 15 aren't allowed in the sauna area.

How passes work

  • Where to buy — at reception, in cash or by card; businesses get an invoice.
  • When you book — tell us you have a pass; we deduct the session before your treatment.
  • No tie-in — cancel the monthly card at reception by the end of the current month.
  • Extending validity — once, by two months, for a €9 fee, before it runs out.
  • Can't be combined — with the off-peak discount or a gift voucher.

Corporate and group bookings

For businesses, we can prepare named or transferable passes, on one invoice with seven-day terms. 5% off from five passes.

  • Private hire of the sauna area for a group of up to six.
  • Booking three treatment rooms at once, by arrangement.
  • We handle invoice details at reception or through the form below.

Unused sessions expire when the pass does, and we don't refund them. Passes and the monthly card can be transferred to someone else — just tell reception.

Gift vouchers

Vouchers for an amount or a treatment

We issue vouchers on the spot at reception. They're valid for 12 months from the date of issue and carry a number, which is all you need to give when you book.

Gift voucher

€30 · €50 · €80 · €100

Valid for 12 months Printed, in an envelope Issued on the spot
  • For an amount — any value from €30, and it can be used over several visits.
  • For a specific treatment — a 90-minute aromatherapy massage, for example; if we change our prices in the meantime, the voucher still covers it in full.
  • Sauna for two — two two-hour sessions, €32.
  • Corporate orders — from five vouchers, we issue one invoice and hand them over in envelopes.

How to use a voucher

Use your voucher when you book, not at reception when you leave. You can just read us the voucher number over the phone.

If the treatment costs more than the voucher, you pay the difference on the day. If it costs less, the balance stays on the voucher until it expires.

Vouchers can't be exchanged for cash or used to buy a pass. We can't extend them once they've expired.

Practical tips

  • Have your last big meal at least two hours before your treatment.
  • After your massage, drink at least an extra litre of water during the day.
  • After a deep tissue massage, muscles can be tender for two days — that's normal.
  • If anything feels uncomfortable, say so straight away, not at the end.
  • No need to bring slippers — you'll get a pair when you arrive.

Preparation

What to bring, and what we provide

You don't need to bring anything for a massage — the robe and towel are included. For the sauna area you need swimwear, or you can hire it for €4.

Bring

  • Swimwear for the sauna area — if you forget it, you can hire some for €4.
  • A hair tie — handy for long hair in the sauna and during a massage.
  • A list of medication — especially blood thinners and blood pressure medication; the name is enough.
  • Parent or guardian's consent — for visitors aged 15 to 18, on their first visit.
  • Your gift voucher number — if you'd like to use it and don't have it with you.

We provide

  • A robe, a large towel and slippers — included with every treatment and sauna session.
  • A locker with a key — in the changing room, for your phone, jewellery and watch.
  • Shower gel, shampoo and a hairdryer — in both changing rooms.
  • Water and herbal tea — unlimited in the relaxation room.
  • The oil of your choice — neutral, or one of three aromatherapy blends.

What to wear

You keep your underwear on during a massage, and you're covered with a sheet the whole time; only the part being worked on is uncovered. We don't recommend contact lenses in the steam room. After an oil massage, dark clothes are a better idea, as oil soaks into light fabrics.

What to leave at home

Please don't bring food in; the relaxation room is for drinks only. Drinks in glass bottles don't belong in the sauna area. We recommend leaving valuables at home — the lockers lock, but we can't be responsible for what's in them.

FAQ

What people ask most often

If your answer isn't here, call reception or use the form at the bottom of the page.

Do I need to book, or can I just turn up?

You need to book for a massage — a free table without a booking is rare. You can come to the sauna area without booking, but it holds 14 people and is full on Saturday afternoons. If you're only coming for the sauna, call half an hour before to check there's space.

What should I bring, and what do I wear for a massage?

You don't need anything for a massage. The robe, large towel and slippers are included; you keep your underwear on, and you're covered during the massage — only the part being worked on is uncovered. For the sauna area you need swimwear, or you can hire it for €4.

Can I use the sauna without a massage?

Yes. A two-hour session on its own costs €16, and three hours €21. The area is shared by women and men, and swimwear is worn. Last entry is 90 minutes before closing.

Is massage suitable during pregnancy?

We offer pregnancy massage from the thirteenth week, lying on your side with supports. We don't massage in the first trimester. If there are complications, we'll ask for your doctor's approval. We don't recommend the sauna during pregnancy.

How early should I arrive?

Ten minutes is enough. On your first visit, allow twenty minutes for the consultation form. The treatment time shown is time on the table, so arriving late shortens your massage if the next slot is booked.

What's the minimum age?

Massage and the sauna area are for ages 15 and up. Under 18, we need a signed consent from a parent or guardian, brought on the first visit. We don't massage younger children.

Can I use a gift voucher for a pass?

No — vouchers can be used for massages, sauna sessions and extras, but not to buy a pass or the wellness card. Any unused value stays on the voucher for its twelve-month validity and can be used on your next visit.

Can two of us come and be in the same room?

Yes — we have a double room, and couples massage is done by two therapists at the same time: 60 minutes for €96 and 90 minutes for €132, for both of you. For this booking we take a 30% deposit, as it ties up two therapists at once.

How do I cancel or move an appointment?

Call reception on your number here or write to us using the form at the bottom of the page. Up to 24 hours before, cancelling or moving is free; after that, the cancellation terms above apply.
