The price depends on what's really in the skip. Mixed waste is the most expensive and sorted waste the cheapest — so it pays to tell us in advance what's going in.
Bulky household waste
Old furniture, carpets and mattresses when you move or clear out. We can also carry it out of the flat, not just load it from the footpath.

You call or write
Tell us what you're knocking down or clearing out. We'll recommend a size — usually smaller than people think.
We deliver
Within 24 hours, and often the same day if you order by 14:00. The driver calls fifteen minutes before arriving.
You fill it
The first three days are included. Don't overfill above the rim — the driver can't take it, and a wasted trip is charged.
We collect and send the paperwork
Call us and it's gone within 24 hours. The invoice comes with the weighbridge docket and confirmation of where the waste ended up.
FAQ
What you ask us most often
What can't go in a skip?
Hazardous waste — asbestos, paint, oil, solvents, batteries, tyres and electrical items. We do take asbestos, but under special arrangements, by agreement and in our own packaging. If hazardous waste turns up in an ordinary skip, the whole load is charged at the highest rate.
Do I pay by volume or by weight?
By weight. Transport is a fixed price depending on the skip size, and disposal is charged by the weight on a certified weighbridge. That's why rubble is cheaper than you'd expect — and why it doesn't pay to order a small skip and pack it to the brim.
Do I need a permit when the skip is on the road?
If it stands in a public place — a footpath, a car park or the road — yes, you need a skip permit from the council. We'll arrange it for you; it takes two to five working days. On your own property or driveway you don't need a permit.
Can you take it away without a skip?
Yes — for smaller amounts, a flatbed truck comes with two people and we load by hand. It's cheaper than a skip for one van-load of furniture or a few bags of rubble.
How quickly can you deliver?
Usually within 24 hours, and often the same day if you order by 14:00. We can do express within three hours if we have a truck free — for a surcharge. On Saturdays we run until lunchtime.
Do you pay for scrap metal straight away?
Yes, when you drop it off at the yard. We pay by bank transfer and need photo ID — that's how we keep a record of every purchase.
