FAQ

FAQ

These are the questions we get asked most at reception. If you can't find the answer here, write to us using the form below.

Do I need to book group classes?

Yes. Classes take 8 to 20 people depending on the class, and booking opens seven days ahead. You don't need to book the gym floor outside group classes — just come in.

I'm a complete beginner. Can I manage a group class?

Yes. For every exercise the trainer shows an easier and a harder version, and you choose the load yourself. If you're not sure, start with the classes marked Mobility or Conditioning, or book a trial session with a trainer.

Can I train without a membership?

You can. A single visit costs €7, and an early visit before 9:00 on weekdays €5. A group class on top of a single visit is €3 extra. A ten-visit pass is valid for six months and is transferable.

When is the gym quietest?

On weekdays between 09:00 and 14:00, and then after 21:00. The busiest times are Monday and Wednesday between 17:00 and 19:30. At weekends the gym is quiet all day, apart from the morning group classes.

Is the sauna included?

Yes, the sauna and the ice bath are included in every visit and every membership. The sauna switches off half an hour before closing, so at 22:30 on weekdays. Swimwear is required, and so is a towel to sit on.

Can I pause or cancel my membership?

Membership has no contract and doesn't renew automatically, so there's nothing to cancel — you simply don't renew it. During illness or holidays it can be paused for up to 30 days in a calendar year.

Can I bring my child?

Entry to the gym is from age 15, and we don't have a crèche. From 15 to 18, written consent from a parent or guardian is needed; you'll get the form at reception.

Do you do personal training and plans?

Yes. Personal training costs €28 an hour, or €240 for a bundle of ten hours. An initial assessment with a written eight-week plan costs €35 and is included with annual membership. Book at reception or through the form.
