What we make

Pressing, welding, assembly

We cover the whole chain — from the tool through pressing and welding to a packed sub-assembly on call-off. The customer deals with one supplier.

Sheet metal pressing

Progressive and transfer tools, sheet up to 4 mm. Presses from 63 to 400 tonnes, including a servo press for precision parts.

63 – 400 t

Welding and welded assemblies

Robotic resistance spot welding and MIG. Assemblies of three or more parts with 100% position checks in a fixture.

6 robots

Sub-assembly

Press-fitting nuts, riveting, fitting seals and final assembly. Every step is mistake-proofed — poka-yoke, not instructions.

4 assembly cells

Tools and fixtures

Our own toolroom — we make, maintain and repair tools. When a tool breaks we don't wait for an outside firm, which makes all the difference with call-offs.

Logistics and call-offs

EDI call-offs, a consignment warehouse at the customer and just-in-sequence deliveries. We deliver on Saturdays too when the line needs it.

EDI · JIT · JIS

Development support

We get involved while the part is still being designed. Changing a radius by two millimetres can save a whole operation — but only while the drawing is still open.

Quality

What customers ask of us

In automotive it's not enough to make a good part. You have to be able to prove that every next one will be the same — and that's the whole job of the quality system.

IATF 16949

Certified quality management system for the automotive industry, recertified in 2025. We're also audited directly by customers.

valid until 2028

PPAP and documentation

The complete package including FMEA, control plan, process capability and measurement reports. Level 3 is standard; we supply higher levels on request.

level 3

Traceability back to the heat

For every part we can trace the material batch, tool, machine, shift and operator. If there's a suspicion, we block only the affected batch, not the whole warehouse.

Responding to a complaint

First response within 24 hours, an 8D report within ten days. We verify the permanent fix on the next three batches, not with a single check.

Capacity

What we have

Three-shift operation, at peak times at weekends too. We keep spare capacity on purpose — without it you can't handle a sudden jump in call-offs.

New project

Five stages of a new project

Enquiry and review

Within three working days. It includes a manufacturability review — we often suggest a change to the part that makes the tool cheaper.

Quote and nomination

Part price, tool price and schedule. After nomination we sign a framework agreement and open the project.

Tooling and sampling

Tool build 10 – 16 weeks depending on complexity. Then sampling and the PPAP package for approval.

Series production ramp-up

A gradual ramp-up with more frequent checks. For the first three months we monitor process capability more closely than later.

Series supply

EDI call-offs, the agreed logistics set-up and a monthly quality report. We maintain the tool, even though it belongs to the customer.

FAQ

What you ask us most often

Do you take smaller volumes?

Yes, from about 5,000 parts a year. Below that the tool doesn't pay for itself and bending on a press brake or laser cutting works out cheaper — we'll tell you straight and recommend who to ask. There's no point pushing a customer into a technology that won't pay back.

Who owns the tool?

The customer who paid for it. We keep it here, maintain and repair it, but it's yours and you can take it away at any time once the account is settled. We put this in the contract, including the handover terms.

How do you handle sudden jumps in call-offs?

We keep spare capacity on purpose and 18 days of finished stock. For a sudden jump we can add a weekend shift within 48 hours. It costs more than planned production, but less than a stopped line at the customer.

What happens when there's a complaint?

Within 24 hours we block the affected batch here and in transit and send an immediate containment action. An 8D report within ten working days. We verify the permanent fix on the next three batches — one good batch proves nothing.

Do you have material certificates?

We keep a 3.1 inspection certificate for every batch and archive it for fifteen years. When tracing, we can go from the part number back to the heat and the steel supplier.

Do you do surface treatment too?

Galvanising and powder coating are done by qualified suppliers who have passed our audit. We are responsible for the final quality — the customer deals with one supplier, not three.
